Behind these essays: For our Forest Park Issue, Canopy Atlanta asked more than 120 Forest Park residents about the journalism they needed this past spring and summer and paid and trained four community members—the Forest Park Fellows—to learn reporting skills to better serve their communities. These essays emerged from the Fellows’ coursework and reporting, and more will be published in the coming weeks.
