COMMUNITY-POWERED JOURNALISM

Canopy Atlanta collaborates with Atlantans—from assigning stories to reporting and presenting them—and helps residents access information about the issues that matter to them most.

Canopy Atlanta’s stories center communities directly affected by civic issues.

Issue No. 3

Bankhead

We talked to more than 75 Bankhead and Grove Park community members to learn more about their Westside neighborhoods and paid and trained five community Fellows to report and write those stories, working alongside more experienced journalists.

Issue No. 2

Forest Park
