Tri-Cities
Issue No. 7
Reporting

The East Point, College Park, and Hapeville neighborhoods pride themselves on being close-knit communities while being next door to the world’s busiest airport. We uplift the thinkers and doers who see even greater possibilities for the area—whether it’s by making healthcare more accessible, providing affordable housing for its artists, or revitalizing Old National Highway.

Community-Powered Stories
Partnering with Atlanta
Canopy Atlanta partners with Atlantans to choose, report, and present journalism responding to community needs, helping residents tell stories about the issues that matter most to them.
140+ Listening Respondents
To choose the stories in this issue, Canopy Atlanta connected with more than 140 Tri-Cities community members and convened five Tri-Cities residents to serve on the Community Editorial Board and help guide story angles.
Journalism Fellows
Canopy Atlanta is paying and training seven Tri-Cities community members—our Fellows—to learn journalism skills over a 10-week program. They will work with other journalists to report and write the stories in this issue.
